Best Western Plus Lower South End – Hotel near airport in Charlotte

The hotel was a bit disappointing in terms of cleanliness and privacy as housekeeping entered without knocking, and the rooms were outdated and slightly dirty. On the positive side, the location felt safe with close access to restaurants and shopping.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of ups and downs. The rooms were not the cleanest and had some lingering smells, but they were priced fairly and located very close to the Blue Line, which was convenient. The service was just alright with some mishaps, especially with housekeeping and the reception not being always attentive. The location was decent, close to downtown and various dining options, although it felt a bit sketchy at night. The dining experience was acceptable, with a variety of food choices, but the atmosphere could have been better. Overall, the stay was decent considering the value for money.
